Welcome, I am Naszrin
With over ten years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals as they work through anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, including intergenerational trauma. I support clients in exploring relationship challenges, identity, and the many transitions and stressors that life can bring. I also have extensive experience supporting families, and in my current practice, I work with parents who want to build stronger, more connected relationships with their children, while finding balance in daily routines, emotional regulation, and communication.
My approach is grounded in building connection, fostering resilience, and supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. I bring a strong social justice lens to my work and approach each session with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to engage in therapy, and I deeply appreciate the trust clients place in me and the shared journey we create together.
When I am not working, I enjoy running, spending time with my daughter and Aussiedoodle, and cooking traditional recipes from my cultural backgrounds. I invite you to explore my website and if you would like to get started, you can book a consultation directly using the button below. I look forward to connecting with you!
Approach

Intersectional
In therapy, this means understanding clients within the full context of their lived experiences rather than viewing any one part of their identity in isolation
Trauma Informed
A trauma-informed approach acknowledges the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment in the therapeutic relationship.
Evidence informed
This means integrating the best available research with clinical expertise and each client’s unique preferences, values, and context.

Strength based
The therapeutic work focuses on recognizing and building upon each person’s existing skills. Rather than centering on problems, it emphasizes the belief that clients have the capacity to create meaningful change in their lives.
Anti oppressive
This approach recognizes and challenges the ways that power, privilege, and systemic inequities affect people’s lives and well-being. In practice, this involves acknowledging the impact of systemic injustice and fostering a therapeutic environment that supports healing, empowerment, and advocacy.

“You are allowed to live into your full, whole self. You are already enough. It is my belief that we are all inherently enough. It is the work of a lifetime to remove all the beliefs, ideas, and stories that have ever caused us to believe otherwise. It is sacred work. Necessary work. Humble work. Beautiful work."
